Case Study
How an arborist found $1–2k a day hiding on their map.
We built a custom live map on top of Jobber that shows every request, recently sent quote, approved quote, and job as a pin — with Street View, custom pins like chip drops, and per-salesperson layers.
Now when a crew finishes a job early, they glance at the map and pick up an approved quote ten minutes away. Work that was already sold — just sitting in the backlog — can add an extra $1,000+ a day.
Your sales team sees new requests the moment they drop — and can be first to assess the site.

The Opportunity
Arborists drive all day. Every trip is an opportunity.
Arborist crews spend their day on the road — quote to job site, job site to chip drop, chip drop to the next removal. Every trip passes work that's already in the pipeline: the approved quote two blocks over, the new request that just came in down the street, the quoted house on the way home.
Two ways Power Maps pays off:
- First to assess wins the job. The quoter who shows up first almost always closes. See a new request the second it drops and be the first to assess.
- Nearby work makes crews more efficient and more profitable. Approved quotes sitting in the backlog are trips the crew is already making, with billable work tacked on for free. When a removal wraps at 1pm, three ten-minute-away quotes on the map turn the afternoon into billable work instead of a drive home.
The Solution
Every request, recently sent quote, and job — live, on one map.
We built Power Maps: a custom live satellite map on top of their Jobber account that pulls in every request, recently sent quote, approved quote, unscheduled job, and scheduled job as a color-coded pin.
- Live Jobber sync. One-time OAuth — then every change in Jobber pushes to the map within seconds. No refresh button.
- Street View on every pin. Click a pin — see the house, the driveway, the gate, the power lines. Before you get in the truck.
- Filter layers. Toggle by salesperson, job type, or status. A crew opens the map and sees only their route for the day — not a wall of everyone's work.
- Custom pins. Drop pins for the shop, the chip drop sites, the mechanic, the landfill. They show up next to Jobber jobs so crews can route the whole day — not just the billable stops.
- Mobile-first. The whole thing runs in a phone browser. Quoters use it from the truck, crews use it between jobs.
We scoped the filtering rules and layer structure with the client's team before we built. The goal: fit how they already work — not force a new workflow on them.
The Results
The backlog paid out.
Extra billable work, same trips
Crews pick up approved quotes on the way back from other jobs. $1,000–$2,000 of billable work on afternoons that used to end at 1pm.
First to assess, first to close
Quoters see new requests the moment they drop and recently sent quotes on the same map. A drop-by with "I can start this afternoon" closes deals the bidding war would've lost.
Salespeople own their routes
Each salesperson has their own layer. No more staring at a giant list of everyone's work. Their map is their day.
